This study addresses the essentiality of educational inclusion for harmonious coexistence in educational communities, highlighting the crucial participation of society and educational institutions. The central objective is to analyze the criteria for inclusion in education, focusing on the reflection on key metrics to foster respectful coexistence in educational environments without segregation or exclusion towards students. The methodology employed involved a systematic literature search, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria from 2017 to 2023, in Spanish and English languages. Sixty articles were consulted, selecting 35 after a rigorous review process. The conclusions highlight the urgency of strengthening educational policies, ensuring enabling environments and access to technologies to offer inclusive and quality educational services, thus promoting a more equitable and accessible education.
