VALERO ANCCO, Vidnay Noel; MORALES CHIPANA, Elias; CALDERON QUINO, Katty Maribel and CORNEJO VALDIVIA, Gabriela. Concept maps as a learning tool for students in higher education. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2021, vol.5, n.21, pp.255-265. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v5i21.301.
The research aimed to determine the effectiveness of concept maps as a learning tool in students of the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Público de Manú. The methodology corresponds to the quantitative approach, with a pre-experimental design of a single group with pre and post-test. The sample was made up of 30 students selected under a non-probabilistic criterion. The research techniques correspond to the examination with the input and output test instrument and the content analysis technique with the rubric instrument. The results affirm the existence of a difference between the average obtained by the students in the entrance test in relation to the exit test that was applied after the experiment, therefore, it is concluded that the concept maps are effective as a learning tool of the artistic culture module in students of the Higher Public Technological Institute of Manú.
