Abstract

Trying to choose a knowledge management model is a complex act, since there are several, so it will probably depend on the lines of research. This article aims to conceptually review knowledge management models, in order to establish a referential framework for future research that are considered appropriate for your investigative work. That is why this article is characterized by being a descriptive type of research that starts with a theoretical review of scientific articles from different academic databases to use inclusion and exclusion criteria according to the objective of the research. It is concluded that the different models that exist today are beneficial for organizations, but they require models with similar objectives and characteristics, such as a business or educational focus, in this way the works can be better used by researchers and institutions.
