La Universidad Mayor de San Andrés has 77.457 students in the undergraduate studies, of which there are no known qualitative aspects that make the styles of University life and their relationship with the corresponding to the process of teaching-learning behavior. This research identified in the student population of the faculties of economic and financial Sciences, law and political science and Humanities and educational sciences, the relationship between the activities carried out in the University after attending classes and as required by the teacher for an effective teaching-learning process, in addition to the interest expressed by students on study and opinion which has teachers and study methods that teachers apply. For the analysis of University behavior the AIO approach was adopted: activities, interests, and opinions; universe comprised 45% of the college tuition of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, primary information was achieved using the structured interview, survey and focus groups. Applied the criteria of segmentation by lifestyle 3 student segments were found: Nerd students (scholars), standard (less scholars) and the ligth (careless). The standard students and light segments reach 87 per cent of the University population, these established the lack of relationship between the activities carried out by students and those required by the teaching-learning process.
