Abstract

VARGAS, Walter I.. Writers and the revolutionary passion. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.38, pp.149-168. ISSN 2077-3323.

Essay dedicated to reflect on some characteristics of the literature in relation to the theoretical and intellectual tradition of the West. Through some specific examples, especially since the Russian Revolution, it examines how throughout the twentieth century the need for social and political transformation with a socialist and communist orientation was discussed in different works, arguing that its authors demonstrated in doing so to be victims of excessive concern for social injustice.
