TAPIA LADINO, Marcela. Bolivian migration to Spain: A case for understanding international migration from a gender perspective. Tinkazos [online]. 2010, vol.13, n.28, pp.109-127. ISSN 1990-7451.

The article explores, from a gender perspective, the case of recent Bolivian migration to Spain and its relationship with the systems of inequality both in the society of origin and destination. We argue that gender organizes migration as it affects the decisions of those who migrate and impacts on migration results differently.

Keywords : women; gender; migration by women; international migration; migration by families; migration - Spain; migration flows; migrant workers.
