Abstract

Cerebral abscesses are the most common form of intracranial suppuration in children, are more common among 4 to 8 years of age, the type of germ that causes it depends on the primary process and the location of the abscess. Diagnosis is made with imaging tests and treatment may be medical or surgical instruments and in some cases both. We report the case of a girl whose primary focus was a suppurative otitis media leading to the formation of cerebral abscess.
