El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar en qué medida las habilidades sociales básicas fortalecen la convivencia escolar en niños de 5 años del nivel inicial, en el Centro Educativo, en Perú. Se trabajó un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño de investigación cuasiexperimental. La población objeto de estudio estuvo conformada por 100 alumnos de 5 años de la educación inicial. Los resultados destacan que el grupo experimental reveló avances significativos en autocuidado (86% destacado) y relaciones interpersonales (76% destacado), mientras que el grupo control no presentó mejoras relevantes en ninguna de las áreas evaluadas. Se concluye que el programa de habilidades sociales fortalece la convivencia escolar y el desarrollo integral de niños de 5 años, lo que resalta la importancia de implementar intervenciones estructuradas en el ámbito educativo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Promoting social skills in preschool children, such as communication and respect, is key to strengthening school coexistence. The objective of this research was to determine the extent to which basic social skills strengthen school coexistence in 5-year-old preschool children at the Educational Center in Peru. A quantitative approach was used, with a quasi-experimental research design. The study population consisted of 100 5-year-old preschool students. The results highlight that the experimental group showed significant progress in self-care (86% outstanding) and interpersonal relationships (76% outstanding), while the control group did not show significant improvements in any of the areas evaluated. It is concluded that the social skills program strengthens school coexistence and the comprehensive development of 5-year-old children, which highlights the importance of implementing structured interventions in the educational setting.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Promover habilidades sociais em crianças desde cedo, como comunicação e respeito, é fundamental para fortalecer a convivência escolar. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi determinar em que medida as habilidades sociais básicas fortalecem a convivência escolar em crianças de 5 anos na pré-escola, no Centro Educacional, no Peru. Foi utilizada uma abordagem quantitativa, com delineamento de pesquisa quase-experimental. A população do estudo foi composta por 100 alunos de educação infantil de 5 anos de idade. Os resultados destacam que o grupo experimental apresentou progresso significativo no autocuidado (86% destacados) e nas relações interpessoais (76% destacados), enquanto o grupo controle não apresentou melhorias relevantes em nenhuma das áreas avaliadas. Conclui-se que o programa de habilidades sociais fortalece a convivência escolar e o desenvolvimento integral de crianças de 5 anos, o que evidencia a importância da implementação de intervenções estruturadas no ambiente educacional.]]></p></abstract>
