Por ello, el objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar la germinación y sobrevivencia del pasto ovillo (Dactylis glomerata; L.) en la restauración de suelos afectados por relaves mineros, con adición de tierra negra y compost como sustratos, en la Compañía Buenaventura Julcani Huancavelica. Se diseñaron cuatro tratamientos los cuales se diferenciaron por el sustrato utilizado; en el T1 se utilizó como relave puro, en T2 relave puro más tierra negra, en T3 relave puro más compost y en T4 relave puro más tierra negra y compost en las proporciones de 4: 3,1: 3,1: 3:1,1 con total de doce unidades experimentales. Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar (DCA) con arreglo factorial 1 x 4, considerando en cada tratamiento doce repeticiones. Los resultados indican que la especie vegetal en suelos contaminados con relave de la minería tiene la capacidad de germinar y sobrevivir en las combinaciones de T2, T3 y T4. Se concluye, el pasto Dactylis glomerata L; posee la capacidad fitorremediadora.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The tailings from a highly contaminated mining plant with various heavy metals generate environmental liabilities that pose environmental risks such as soil degradation and water contamination. Therefore, the objective of this research was to evaluate the germination and survival of tufted hairgrass (Dactylis glomerata; L.) in the restoration of soils affected by mining tailings, using black soil and compost as substrates, at the Buenaventura Julcani Huancavelica Company. Four treatments were designed, differentiated by the substrate used; in T1, pure tailings were used, in T2 pure tailings plus black soil, in T3 pure tailings plus compost, and in T4 pure tailings plus black soil and compost in the proportions of 4:3, 1:3, 1:3:1, 1:1, totaling twelve experimental units. A completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial arrangement of 1 x 4 was used, considering twelve repetitions for each treatment. The results indicate that the plant species in soils contaminated with mining tailings has the ability to germinate and survive in the combinations of T2, T3, and T4. It is concluded that Dactylis glomerata L. possesses phytoremediation capabilities.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Os rejeitos de uma planta mineradora altamente contaminados por diferentes metais pesados geram passivos ambientais que ocasionam riscos ambientais, como a degradação do solo e a contaminação da água. Portanto, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar a germinação e sobrevivência do capim ovillo (Dactylis glomerata, L.) na restauração de solos afetados por rejeitos de mineração, com adição de terra preta e composto como substratos, na Companhia Buenaventura Julcani Huancavelica. Foram desenhados quatro tratamentos que se diferenciaram pelo substrato utilizado; no T1 foi utilizado rejeito puro, no T2 rejeito puro mais terra preta, no T3 rejeito puro mais composto e no T4 rejeito puro mais terra preta e composto nas proporções de 4:3, 1:3, 1:3:1, 1:1, totalizando doze unidades experimentais. Foi utilizado um desenho completamente ao acaso (DCA) com arranjo fatorial de 1 x 4, considerando doze repetições para cada tratamento. Os resultados indicam que a espécie vegetal em solos contaminados com rejeito da mineração tem a capacidade de germinar e sobreviver nas combinações de T2, T3 e T4. Conclui-se que o capim Dactylis glomerata L. possui capacidades fitorremediadoras.]]></p></abstract>
