<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.bo/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2409-16182024000200074&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.bo/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2409-16182024000200074&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.bo/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2409-16182024000200074&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En el altiplano de boliviano son escasos los estudios de niveles de salinidad y como afectan a la quinua, el mayor problema de la salinidad se manifiesta en el estado fenológico de la germinación, estudios realizados a nivel de laboratorio indica que al aplicar NaCl 400 mM la germinación se reduce en un 53 % influyendo directamente en el rendimiento de la quinua, el objetivo del presente estudio es determinar qué ecotipo de quinua es resistente a diferentes niveles de salinidad en la germinación, además de evaluar qué nivel de salinidad puede soportar la quinua en la germinación para mejorar los niveles de prendimiento a nivel de campo. Para conseguir los objetivos el trabajo fue realizado en el laboratorio de semillas de la Carrera de Agronomía de la FCAN, utilizando los ecotipos Kellu, Pinsankalla y Negra procedentes del germoplasma de origen de la zona del intersalar, el medio utilizado fue agar agua, en este estudio se hizo variar los niveles de NaCl 0, 300, 400 y 500 Mm, las variables consideradas para este estudio fueron porcentaje de germinación, longitud radícula y biomasa. El resultado de este estudio es que los porcentajes de germinación disminuyen cuando incrementan los niveles de sales, la quinua decrece un 25 % de su germinación a 300 mM, superior a este nivel los porcentajes de germinación disminuyen considerablemente, no existe diferencia significativa en ecotipos esto puede deberse que los tres ecotipos son de la línea reales y producidas a las orillas del salar de Uyuni. La prueba estadística permite concluir que la quinua resiste un nivel máximo de 300 mM de NaCl.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In the Bolivian altiplano there are few studies of salinity levels and how they affect quinoa, the greatest problem of salinity is manifested in the phenological stage of germination, studies carried out at the laboratory level indicate that when NaCl 400 mM is applied, germination is reduced by 53%, directly influencing the yield of quinoa, The objective of the present study is to determine which ecotype of quinoa is resistant to different levels of salinity in germination, in addition to evaluating what level of salinity quinoa can withstand in germination to improve the levels of yield at the field level. To achieve the objectives, the work was carried out in the seed laboratory of the Agronomy Department of the FCAN, using the ecotypes Kellu, Pinsankalla and Negra from the germplasm of origin of the intersalar zone, the medium used was water agar, in this study the levels of NaCl 0, 300, 400 and 500 Mm were varied, the variables considered for this study were germination percentage, radicle length and biomass. The result of this study is that the germination percentages decrease when the salt levels increase, quinoa decreases 25% of its germination at 300 mM, above this level the germination percentages decrease considerably, there is no significant difference in ecotypes this may be due to the fact that the three ecotypes are of the real line and produced on the shores of the Uyuni salt flat. The statistical test allows concluding that quinoa resists a maximum level of 300 mM NaCl.]]></p></abstract>
