El estudio buscó determinar la relación entre las competencias digitales y la autoeficacia académica en estudiantes de un instituto pedagógico privado de Lima. Mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional y transversal. Con una muestra de 122 estudiantes. Para recoger información se aplicaron encuestas e instrumentos validados. Los resultados muestran una correlación positiva moderada entre ambas variables (Rho = 0.512, p = .000), destacándose la creación de contenidos digitales (Rho = 0.450) y la resolución de problemas (Rho = 0.539) presentaron relaciones significativas con como predictores claves de la autoeficacia académica. Mientras la seguridad digital mostró una asociación débil (Rho = 0.305), evidenciando una brecha formativa. Las conclusiones enfatizan la relevancia de las competencias digitales en educación superior, y señalan la urgencia de reorientar los programas formativos para fortalecer las dimensiones críticas, asegurando que los estudiantes sean gestores responsables de su aprendizaje en entornos tecnológicos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Digital skills are essential for academic development, linked to virtual learning management and academic self-efficacy. This study sought to determine the relationship between digital skills and academic self-efficacy in students at a private pedagogical institute in Lima. This study used a quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 122 students. Surveys and validated instruments were used to collect data. The results show a moderate positive correlation between both variables (Rho = 0.512, p = .000). Digital content creation (Rho = 0.450) and problem-solving (Rho = 0.539) were found to be significant predictors of academic self-efficacy. Meanwhile, digital security showed a weak association (Rho = 0.305), highlighting a learning gap. The conclusions emphasize the importance of digital competencies in higher education and point to the urgent need to reorient training programs to strengthen critical dimensions, ensuring that students are responsible managers of their learning in technological environments.]]></p></abstract>

Utilizando uma abordagem quantitativa, correlacional e transversal. Com uma amostra de 122 alunos. Pesquisas e instrumentos validados foram utilizados para coletar informações. Os resultados mostram uma correlação positiva moderada entre ambas as variáveis (Rho = 0,512, p = 0,000), destacando que a criação de conteúdo digital (Rho = 0,450) e a resolução de problemas (Rho = 0,539) apresentaram relações significativas como principais preditores da autoeficácia acadêmica. Enquanto a segurança digital apresentou associação fraca (Rho = 0,305), evidenciando uma lacuna de treinamento.
