El objetivo, fue verificar el vertimiento de aguas residuales domiciliarias contribuye en el grado de contaminación del rio Pisco, Ica, 2023. Materiales y métodos: El enfoque es cuantitativo, tipo descriptiva, el diseño es experimental-transversal. Se utilizaron técnicas de muestreo estandarizadas para la recolección de muestras de agua en diferentes momentos del año. Se realizaron análisis de &#8220;demanda bioquímica de oxígeno (DBO), sólidos totales suspendidos, coliformes totales&#8221;, entre otros indicadores, utilizando métodos reconocidos en el ámbito científico. Resultados: revelaron que, las concentraciones de los elementos evaluados se encuentran dentro de los límites aceptables establecidos por las normativas ambientales. La DBO sugiere una carga controlada de materia orgánica, y las concentraciones de sólidos suspendidos y coliformes totales están por debajo de los umbrales críticos. La discusión: Los hallazgos destacan la importancia de un monitoreo continuo y la necesidad de implementar medidas preventivas ante posibles cambios en las condiciones del vertimiento de fluido sobrantes domiciliarias. Se resaltó la relevancia de la concientización pública sobre prácticas sostenibles y la colaboración entre entidades gubernamentales, comunidades locales y sectores industriales para preservar a largo plazo el río Pisco y su ecosistema acuático. Conclusiones: este estudio proporciona una visión integral de la naturaleza del fluido en el río Pisco, evidenciando condiciones ambientales relativamente saludables en las estaciones de muestreo seleccionadas, pero subrayando la importancia de mantener esfuerzos de conservación y gestión sostenible.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Introduction: The discharge of domestic wastewater into surface water bodies, such as rivers, lakes and oceans, constitutes one of the most serious environmental problems worldwide. The objective was to verify the discharge of domestic wastewater contributes to the degree of pollution of the Pisco River, Ica, 2023. Materials and methods: The approach is quantitative, descriptive type, the design is experimental-cross-sectional. Standardized sampling techniques were used to collect water samples at different times of the year. Analyses of "biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids, total coliforms", among other indicators, were performed using methods recognized in the scientific field. Results: they revealed that the concentrations of the evaluated elements are within the acceptable limits established by environmental regulations. The BOD suggests a controlled load of organic matter, and the concentrations of suspended solids and total coliforms are below the critical thresholds. Discussion: The findings highlight the importance of continuous monitoring and the need to implement preventive measures in the event of possible changes in the conditions of discharge of residual household fluids. The relevance of public awareness about sustainable practices and collaboration between government entities, local communities and industrial sectors to preserve the Pisco River and its aquatic ecosystem in the long term was highlighted. Conclusions: This study provides a comprehensive view of the nature of the fluid in the Pisco River, evidencing relatively healthy environmental conditions at the selected sampling stations, but underlining the importance of maintaining conservation and sustainable management efforts.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Introdução: O despejo de águas residuais domésticas em corpos de água superficiais, como rios, lagos e oceanos, constitui um dos mais graves problemas ambientais a nível mundial. O objetivo foi verificar o despejo de águas residuais domésticas que contribui para o grau de contaminação do rio Pisco, Ica, 2023. Materiais e métodos: A abordagem é quantitativa, descritiva, o desenho é experimental-transversal. Foram utilizadas técnicas de amostragem padronizadas para recolher amostras de água em diferentes alturas do ano. A análise da &#8220;demanda bioquímica de oxigénio (DBO), sólidos suspensos totais, coliformes totais&#8221;, entre outros indicadores, foi realizada através de métodos reconhecidos no meio científico. Resultados: revelaram que as concentrações dos elementos avaliados estão dentro dos limites aceitáveis estabelecidos pela regulamentação ambiental. A DBO sugere uma carga controlada de matéria orgânica, e as concentrações de sólidos em suspensão e de coliformes totais estão abaixo dos limites críticos. A discussão: Os resultados realçam a importância da monitorização contínua e a necessidade de implementar medidas preventivas contra possíveis alterações nas condições de descarga do excedente de fluido doméstico. Foi destacada a relevância da sensibilização pública sobre práticas sustentáveis e da colaboração entre entidades governamentais, comunidades locais e setores industriais para preservar o rio Pisco e o seu ecossistema aquático a longo prazo. Conclusões: Este estudo fornece uma visão abrangente da natureza do fluido no Rio Pisco, evidenciando condições ambientais relativamente saudáveis nas estações de amostragem selecionadas, mas sublinhando a importância de manter os esforços de conservação e gestão sustentável.]]></p></abstract>
