El planteamiento de la metodología comenzó con la identificación del enfoque cuantitativo, seguido por el diseño no experimental, así como la aplicación del método deductivo y analítico, donde el tamaño de muestra fue de 79 habitantes del poblado de Chucaripo, con el modelo de regresión dicotómico. Los resultados del modelo al 5% de significancia demostraron que existe voluntad de pago promedio de S/ 2.19 soles por la sostenibilidad del servicio de agua potable; el factor económico representado por el ingreso explica la existencia de disposición de pago por la sostenibilidad del servicio de agua potable y los factores sociales como la edad, el tamaño de hogar, el grado de educación, el género, la vigilancia del agua potable, la percepción de mejora de la calidad del agua y la importancia del agua también explican la significancia sobre la disposición de pago. Se concluye, fortalecer las políticas públicas orientadas para mayor inversión pública en proyectos de agua potable para mejorar el nivel de vida de los habitantes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to quantify the willingness to pay for the sustainability of the drinking water service in the Chucaripo Population Center of the Samán District in southern Peru. The approach to the methodology began with the identification of the quantitative approach, followed by the non-experimental design, as well as the application of the deductive and analytical method, where the sample size was 79 inhabitants of the town of Chucaripo, with the dichotomous regression model. The results of the model at 5% significance demonstrated that there is an average willingness to pay of S/ 2.19 soles for the sustainability of the drinking water service; The economic factor represented by income explains the existence of willingness to pay for the sustainability of the drinking water service and social factors such as age, household size, level of education, gender, monitoring of drinking water, Perception of improved water quality and the importance of water also explain the significance on willingness to pay. It is concluded to strengthen public policies aimed at greater public investment in drinking water projects to improve the standard of living of the inhabitants.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO O objetivo do estudo foi quantificar a disposição a pagar pela sustentabilidade do serviço de água potável no Centro Populacional de Chucaripo, no distrito de Samán, no sul do Peru. A abordagem da metodologia iniciou-se com a identificação da abordagem quantitativa, seguida do desenho não experimental, bem como a aplicação do método dedutivo e analítico, onde o tamanho da amostra foi de 79 habitantes do município de Chucaripo, com a dicotômica modelo de regressão. Os resultados do modelo a 5% de significância demonstraram que existe uma disposição média a pagar de S/ 2,19 soles pela sustentabilidade do serviço de água potável; O factor económico representado pelo rendimento explica a existência de vontade de pagar pela sustentabilidade do serviço de água potável e factores sociais como idade, tamanho do agregado familiar, nível de escolaridade, género, monitorização da água potável, percepção de melhoria da qualidade da água e a importância da água também explicam a importância da disposição para pagar. Conclui-se fortalecer las políticas públicas que visam um maior investimento público em projetos de água potável para melhorar o padrão de vida dos habitantes.]]></p></abstract>
