El experimento se realizó en Localidad de María Auxiliadora km 27 Ruta V, Distrito de Belén, Departamento de Concepción, Paraguay. Se aplicó el diseño experimental de bloques completos al azar (DBCA), con un arreglo factorial 3 x 4, siendo el factor A, espaciamiento entre plantas 0,60, 0,70, 0,80 m y el factor B dosis de fertilizantes potásico, 0, 50, 100, 150 K2O kg ha-1, con tres repeticiones. El trasplante se realizó una vez que las plántulas desarrollaron tres a cuatro hojas verdaderas, con un distanciamiento entre hileras de 1,0 m y entre plantas conforme a los tratamientos. Cada unidad experimental tuvo 4 hileras con 4 m de largo. La aplicación de fertilizante potásico se realizó a los 30, 45 y 60 días, después del trasplante. La cosecha se inició a los 45 Días Después del Trasplante (DDT). Las determinaciones evaluadas fueron, altura de la planta, número de frutos por planta, peso individual, diámetro longitudinal y ecuatorial, rendimiento por planta. Las comparaciones de las medias aritméticas fueron sometidos al Análisis de Varianza, y las medias, comparadas entre sí, por el Test de Tukey al 5% y análisis de regresión. Los resultados mostraron que hubo diferencias significativas para la mayoría de las determinaciones. El mejor resultado para la determinación de rendimiento se obtuvo con el T3. De 100 kg ha-1 de potasio con un espaciamiento de 60 cm entre plantas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Tomato production is an important income item for many of the producers in the Concepción area. In recent times it has suffered a decrease in yield. For this reason, the objective of the work is to evaluate the effect of the Potassium fertilization and spatial arrangements in tomato production. The experiment was carried out in the Locality of María Auxiliadora km 27 Ruta V, District of Belén, Department of Concepción, Paraguay. The randomized complete block experimental design (DBCA) was applied, with a 3 x 4 factorial arrangement, with factor A being spacing between plants 0.60, 0.70, 0.80 m and factor B dose of potassium fertilizers. 0, 50, 100, 150 K2O kg ha-1, with three repetitions. The transplant was carried out once the seedlings developed three to four true leaves, with a distance between rows of 1.0 m and between plants according to the treatments. Each experimental unit had 4 rows 4 m long. The application of potassium fertilizer was carried out 30, 45 and 60 days after transplanting. The harvest began at 45 Days After Transplantation (DAT). The determinations evaluated were plant height, number of fruits per plant, individual weight, longitudinal and equatorial diameter, and yield per plant. The comparisons of the arithmetic means were subjected to Analysis of Variance, and the means, compared to each other, were subjected to the 5% Tukey Test and regression analysis. The results showed that there were significant differences for most of the determinations. The best result for determining performance was obtained with T3. 100 kg ha-1 of potassium with a spacing of 60 cm between plants.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO A produção de tomate é uma importante fonte de renda para muitos dos produtores da região de Concepción. Nos últimos tempos sofreu uma diminuição na produtividade. Por isso, o objetivo do trabalho é avaliar o efeito da fertilização potássica e dos arranjos espaciais em produção de tomate. O experimento foi realizado na localidade de María Auxiliadora km 27 Ruta V, Distrito de Belén, Departamento de Concepción, Paraguai. Aplicou-se o delineamento experimental em blocos completos casualizados (DBCA), com arranjo fatorial 3 x 4, sendo o fator A espaçamento entre plantas 0,60, 0,70, 0,80 m e fator B dose de fertilizantes potássicos 0, 50, 100, 150 K2O kg. ha-1, com três repetições. O transplante foi realizado quando as mudas desenvolveram de três a quatro folhas verdadeiras, com distância entre linhas de 1,0 m e entre plantas conforme os tratamentos. Cada unidade experimental possuía 4 linhas de 4 m de comprimento. A aplicação do fertilizante potássico foi realizada aos 30, 45 e 60 dias após o transplantio. A colheita iniciou-se aos 45 dias após o transplante (DAT). As determinações avaliadas foram altura de planta, número de frutos por planta, peso individual, diâmetro longitudinal e equatorial e produtividade por planta. As comparações das médias aritméticas foram submetidas à Análise de Variância, e as médias, comparadas entre si, foram submetidas ao Teste de Tukey 5% e análise de regressão. Os resultados mostraram que houve diferenças significativas para a maioria das determinações. O melhor resultado para determinação do desempenho foi obtido com T3. 100 kg ha-1 de potássio com espaçamento de 60 cm entre plantas.]]></p></abstract>
