El objetivo del artículo es revisar de manera sistemática de la literatura sobre hábitos de estudio, antes y durante la pandemia por COVID-19. La metodología utilizada consiste en una revisión sistemática de la literatura, a través de búsqueda de artículos en SCOPUS (2017 al 2023), y Mendeley, se seleccionó 8 artículos originales con el método PRISMA. Los resultados indican que, entre los países con problemas en los hábitos de estudio, se encuentra México (calidad sueño: 66.7%), Perú, (estrés académico: 57.6%), Reino Unido (problemas adaptativos de aprendizaje en línea 42%), finalmente, Arabia Saudita (sin repaso antes de los exámenes: 54%); además antes de la pandemia los estudiantes tenían un nivel alto de actividad física (53.3%). Se concluye que el cambio de paradigma educativo por COVID-19, generó un impacto negativo en los hábitos de estudio, que hizo necesario fortalecerlos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT With the emergence of COVID-19 and the health measures in place, distance learning was adopted in virtual environments, disrupting teaching. The objective of this article is to systematically review the literature on study habits before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used consists of a systematic literature review, searching for articles in SCOPUS (2017 to 2023) and Mendeley. Eight original articles were selected using the PRISMA method. The results indicate that among the countries with study habits problems are Mexico (sleep quality: 66.7%), Peru (academic stress: 57.6%), the United Kingdom (adaptive learning problems online: 42%), and Saudi Arabia (no review before exams: 54%). Furthermore, before the pandemic, students had a high level of physical activity (53.3%). It is concluded that the educational paradigm shift due to COVID-19 had a negative impact on study habits, making it necessary to strengthen them.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Com o surgimento da COVID-19 e as medidas sanitárias em vigor, o ensino à distância foi adotado em ambientes virtuais, interrompendo o ensino. O objetivo deste artigo é rever sistematicamente a literatura sobre hábitos de estudo antes e durante a pandemia de COVID-19. A metodologia utilizada consiste numa revisão sistemática da literatura, com pesquisa de artigos nas bases de dados SCOPUS (2017 a 2023) e Mendeley. Foram selecionados oito artigos originais através do método PRISMA. Os resultados indicam que, entre os países com problemas de hábitos de estudo, estão o México (qualidade do sono: 66,7%), o Peru (stress académico: 57,6%), o Reino Unido (problemas de aprendizagem adaptativa online: 42%) e a Arábia Saudita (sem revisão antes dos exames: 54%). Além disso, antes da pandemia, os alunos apresentavam um nível elevado de atividade física (53,3%). Conclui-se que a mudança de paradigma educacional devido à COVID-19 impactou negativamente os hábitos de estudo, tornando-se necessário fortalecê-los.]]></p></abstract>
