El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las perspectivas relacionadas con el aprendizaje basado en problemas (ABP) en el contexto educativo. La metodología se desarrolló con un enfoque cualitativo usándose la modalidad de revisión sistematica de documentos en las bases de datos de Scopus, PubMed, Dialnet, Redalyc y Scielo que fueron publicados entre el 2015 y el 2024. Conforme a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se analizaron 22 artículos. En los resultados se evidenció la significancia de la combinación del ABP con otros métodos o estrategias; asimismo, se evidenció la participación activa de los estudiantes. De ello se concluyó que el ABP está vinculado al fomento de diferentes tipos de pensamiento, habilidades comunicativas y metodologías, por lo que tiene un impacto positivo en el rendimiento estudiantil.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Problem-based learning is a methodology focused on promoting critical thinking, knowledge construction, decision making and teamwork. The objective of the study was to analyze the perspectives related to problem-based learning (PBL) in the educational context. The methodology was developed with a qualitative approach using the modality of systematic review of documents in the Scopus, PubMed, Dialnet, Redalyc and Scielo databases that were published between 2015 and 2024. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 22 articles were analyzed. In the results, the significance of the combination of PBL with other methods or strategies was evidenced; likewise, the active participation of students was evidenced. It was concluded that PBL is linked to the promotion of different types of thinking, communicative skills and methodologies, and therefore has a positive impact on student achievement.]]></p></abstract>

A metodologia foi desenvolvida com uma abordagem qualitativa usando a modalidade de revisão sistemática de documentos nas bases de dados Scopus, PubMed, Dialnet, Redalyc e Scielo que foram publicados entre 2015 e 2024. De acordo com os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 22 artigos foram analisados.
