Este estudio busca analizar el impacto y los desafíos asociados con la implementación de los REA en el ámbito educativo. Se empleó una metodología de revisión bibliográfica, donde se examinaron múltiples fuentes académicas y estudios relevantes sobre el tema. Los resultados revelan que los REA ofrecen oportunidades significativas para superar las barreras de tiempo y espacio en el aprendizaje, al tiempo que promueven la motivación del estudiante y la accesibilidad para personas con discapacidades. Sin embargo, se identificaron desafíos importantes en términos de inversión en infraestructura digital, capacitación docente y cumplimiento de criterios de calidad pedagógica y técnica. En conclusión, se destaca la necesidad de abordar estos desafíos para aprovechar plenamente el potencial de los REA en la educación y garantizar una enseñanza de calidad y equitativa para todos los estudiantes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Access to open educational resources (OER) has emerged as a fundamental tool in the improvement of teaching and learning processes. This study seeks to analyze the impact and challenges associated with the implementation of OER in education. A literature review methodology was employed, where multiple academic sources and relevant studies on the topic were examined. The results reveal that OER offer significant opportunities to overcome time and space barriers to learning, while promoting learner motivation and accessibility for people with disabilities. However, significant challenges were identified in terms of investment in digital infrastructure, teacher training and compliance with pedagogical and technical quality criteria. In conclusion, the need to address these challenges in order to fully exploit the potential of OER in education and ensure quality and equitable education for all students is highlighted.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO O acesso a recursos educacionais abertos (REA) surgiu como uma ferramenta fundamental para a melhoria dos processos de ensino e aprendizagem. Este estudo busca analisar o impacto e os desafios associados à implementação de REA na educação. Foi empregada uma metodologia de revisão da literatura, examinando várias fontes acadêmicas e estudos relevantes sobre o tema. Os resultados revelam que os REA oferecem oportunidades significativas para superar as barreiras de tempo e espaço para o aprendizado, além de promover a motivação do aluno e a acessibilidade para pessoas com deficiências. Entretanto, foram identificados desafios significativos em termos de investimento em infraestrutura digital, treinamento de professores e conformidade com critérios de qualidade pedagógica e técnica. Em conclusão, destaca-se a necessidade de abordar esses desafios para explorar plenamente o potencial dos REA na educação e garantir uma educação de qualidade e equitativa para todos os alunos.]]></p></abstract>
