El objetivo del artículo fue determinar la relación existente entre las estrategias socioafectivas y la autoestima de los estudiantes. El estudio se desarrolló en un enfoque cuantitativo, un diseño no experimental, tipo transversal, teniendo una población censal de 226 estudiantes. En los resultados, solo el 61,5% de los estudiantes consideran que las estrategias socioafectivas se encuentran en un nivel alto; asimismo el 65,9% de los estudiantes consideran que las autoestimas se encuentran en un nivel alto. Como parte de la conclusión, existe una relación significativa en la estrategia socioemocional y la autoestima que desarrollo el estudiante, representado por un Rho de 0,353**.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In education in recent years, socioaffective strategies and self-esteem have been a main focus for institutions and states, due to the level of importance in both personal and academic development of students, even more so in vulnerable areas. The objective of the article was to determine the relationship between socioaffective strategies and students' self-esteem. The study was developed in a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, cross-sectional type, having a census population of 226 students. In the results, only 61.5% of the students consider that the socio-affective strategies are at a high level; likewise, 65.9% of the students consider that self-esteem is at a high level. As part of the conclusion, there is a significant relationship in the socioemotional strategy and the self-esteem developed by the student, represented by an Rho of 0.353**.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Nos últimos anos, na educação, as estratégias socioafetivas e a autoestima têm sido um dos principais focos das instituições e dos estados, devido ao nível de importância no desenvolvimento pessoal e acadêmico dos alunos, principalmente em áreas vulneráveis. O objetivo do artigo foi determinar a relação entre as estratégias socioafetivas e a autoestima dos alunos. O estudo foi desenvolvido em uma abordagem quantitativa, um desenho não experimental e transversal, com uma população censitária de 226 alunos. Nos resultados, apenas 61,5% dos alunos consideram que as estratégias socioafetivas estão em um nível alto; também 65,9% dos alunos consideram que a autoestima está em um nível alto.
