Este estudio, a través de una revisión sistemática que abordó 24 estudios, buscó identificar los factores que inciden en el estrés académico de estudiantes universitarios. Se destacó la complejidad multidimensional de estos factores, agravada por eventos extraordinarios como la pandemia de COVID-19. La investigación concluyó que la interacción de estos elementos no solo impacta el rendimiento académico sino también la salud mental de los estudiantes. Este análisis resalta la necesidad de estrategias efectivas para gestionar y mitigar el estrés académico en entornos universitarios.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In the university context, academic stress, a common response to multiple demands, can be both activating and detrimental to performance. This study, through a systematic review that addressed 24 studies, sought to identify the factors that impact academic stress in university students. It highlighted the multidimensional complexity of these factors, compounded by extraordinary events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The research concluded that the interaction of these elements not only impacts academic performance but also the mental health of students. This analysis highlights the need for effective strategies to manage and mitigate academic stress in university settings.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO No contexto universitário, o estresse acadêmico, uma resposta comum a múltiplas demandas, pode ser tanto ativador quanto prejudicial ao desempenho. Este estudo, por meio de uma revisão sistemática que abordou 24 estudos, procurou identificar os fatores que influenciam o estresse acadêmico em estudantes universitários. Ele destacou a complexidade multidimensional desses fatores, agravada por eventos extraordinários como a pandemia da COVID-19. A pesquisa concluiu que a interação desses elementos afeta não apenas o desempenho acadêmico, mas também a saúde mental dos alunos.
