La pesquisa de tipo transversal, descriptivo-comparativo, contó con una muestra de 267 alumnos (121 de primaria y 146 de secundaria), 106 mujeres y 161 varones; entre 10 y 16 años; se utilizó el cuestionario de Aprendizajes Básicos en Ciudadanía (ABC) y el estadístico Kruskal-Wallis. La contrastación de la variable sexo con las dimensiones mostró que existían diferencias significativas con la tolerancia e inclusión; mientras que no había diferencias con convivencia y participación, las reglas y trabajo en equipo. Por otro lado, la comparación entre grados demostró que no existían diferencias significativas con un nivel de confianza de p=0,05 en las dimensiones de reglas, trabajo en equipo y si por el contrario en la dimensión de tolerancia e inclusión, convivencia y participación.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article is focused on determining the basic learning of citizenship participation of primary and secondary students of a public institution in Abancay (Peru). The cross-sectional, descriptive-comparative research had a sample of 267 students (121 primaries and 146 secondary), 106 females and 161 males; between 10 and 16 years old; the Basic Citizenship Learning (ABC) questionnaire and the Kruskal-Wallis statistic were used. The comparison of the sex variable with the dimensions showed that there were significant differences with tolerance and inclusion, while there were no differences with coexistence and participation, rules and teamwork. On the other hand, the comparison between grades showed that there were no significant differences with a confidence level of p=0.05 in the dimensions of rules and teamwork, while there were significant differences in the dimensions of tolerance and inclusion, coexistence and participation.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO O foco deste artigo é determinar a aprendizagem básica da participação cidadã dos alunos do ensino fundamental e médio em uma instituição pública de Abancay (Peru). A pesquisa transversal, descritiva e comparativa envolveu uma amostra de 267 alunos (121 do ensino fundamental e 146 do ensino médio), 106 do sexo feminino e 161 do sexo masculino, entre 10 e 16 anos de idade; foram utilizados o questionário Aprendizagem Básica da Cidadania (ABC) e a estatística de Kruskal-Wallis.
