Las universidades se vieron obligados a cambiar de escenario, del aprendizaje presencial al aprendizaje en línea. Desde aquel momento, el uso de las plataformas de Redes Sociales se ha convertido en una de las principales herramientas de comunicación entre los estudiantes y educadores. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo identificar los efectos mediadores de las redes sociales en la educación en línea de la educación superior en el contexto de la pandemia. La metodología usada fue la revisión sistemática, se elaboró una formula especializada para la búsqueda eficaz de artículos publicados en la base de datos SCOPUS. Se hizo la revisión de 27 documentos. Con respecto a los resultados de busqueda el Facebook, WhatsApp y Youtube fueron las Redes Sociales más utilizadas. Por otro lado, el 14.81% de los documentos analizados identifican efectos mediadores negativos vinculados a problemas de salud; mientras que el 81.84% de investigaciones identifican efectos mediadores positivos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted everyone's life. Universities were forced to shift from face-to-face learning to online learning. Since that time, the use of Social Networking platforms has become one of the main communication tools between students and educators. The present research aims to identify the mediating effects of social networks in online education in higher education in the context of the pandemic. The methodology used was the systematic review, a specialized formula was elaborated for the effective search of articles published in the SCOPUS database. Twenty-seven papers were reviewed. Regarding the search results, Facebook, WhatsApp and Youtube were the most used social networks. On the other hand, 14.81% of the analyzed documents identify negative mediating effects linked to health problems; while 81.84% of researches identify positive mediating effects.]]></p></abstract>

As universidades foram forçadas a mudar do aprendizado presencial para o aprendizado on-line. Desde então, o uso de plataformas de redes sociais se tornou uma das principais ferramentas de comunicação entre alunos e educadores. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar os efeitos mediadores das redes sociais no aprendizado on-line no ensino superior no contexto da pandemia. A metodologia utilizada foi a revisão sistemática, uma fórmula especializada foi desenvolvida para a busca eficiente de artigos publicados no banco de dados SCOPUS. Vinte e sete artigos foram revisados. Com relação aos resultados da pesquisa, Facebook, WhatsApp e Youtube foram as redes sociais mais utilizadas. Por outro lado, 14,81% dos artigos analisados identificam efeitos mediadores negativos relacionados a problemas de saúde, enquanto 81,84% das pesquisas identificam efeitos mediadores positivos.]]></p></abstract>
