El objetivo del estudio fue interpretar la evaluación por competencias en la educación superior utilizando una metodología de revisión sistemática descriptiva de artículos publicados durante los últimos cinco años (2018 a 2022), en las bases de datos Scopus, SciELO y Web of Science. Los resultados de los estudios analizados muestran que la evaluación por competencias favorece la innovación y mejora los perfiles profesionales, aumentando los logros de aprendizaje; destacando que el actor principal es el estudiante, quien debe tener autonomía y ser responsable de su propio aprendizaje y los docentes a través de esta evaluación fortalecen sus propias competencias. Se concluye que, la evaluación basada en competencias en la educación superior, fortalece el perfil de egreso de los estudiantes y favorece su inserción al mercado laboral, donde podrá desempeñarse en excelente nivel de competencia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In recent decades, competency-based education has been consolidated, seeking to have professionals who contribute to the development of a country, in that sense. The aim of the study was to interpret competency-based assessment in higher education using a descriptive systematic review methodology of articles published during the last five years (2018 to 2022), in the Scopus, SciELO and Web of Science databases. The results of the analyzed studies show that competency-based assessment favors innovation and improves professional profiles, increasing learning achievements; highlighting that the main actor is the student, who must have autonomy and be responsible for their own learning and teachers through this assessment strengthen their own competencies. It is concluded that competency-based assessment in higher education strengthens the students' graduation profile and favors their insertion into the labor market, where they will be able to perform at an excellent level of competence.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Nas últimas décadas, a educação baseada em competências tem se consolidado, buscando ter profissionais que contribuam para o desenvolvimento de um país, nesse sentido. O objetivo do estudo foi interpretar a avaliação por competências no ensino superior, utilizando uma metodologia de revisão sistemática descritiva de artigos publicados nos últimos cinco anos (2018 a 2022), nas bases de dados Scopus, SciELO e Web of Science. Os resultados dos estudos analisados mostram que a avaliação baseada em competências favorece a inovação e melhora os perfis profissionais, aumentando os resultados da aprendizagem; destacando que o ator principal é o aluno, que deve ter autonomia e ser responsável por sua própria aprendizagem e os professores, por meio dessa avaliação, fortalecem suas próprias competências. Conclui-se que a avaliação por competências no ensino superior fortalece o perfil de graduação dos alunos e favorece sua inserção no mercado de trabalho, onde poderão atuar com excelente nível de competência.]]></p></abstract>
