Entonces, es necesario garantizar que las investigaciones sean consistentes para beneficio de la comunidad universitaria. De esta manera, el esfuerzo de la universidad ha de abocarse a la corrección de esta mala conducta. Esta revisión de la literatura académica tuvo como propósito describir y fundamentar las malas prácticas del ciberplagio en las que incurren los estudiantes de las universidades y se centra en la recopilación documental de veinticuatro artículos de revistas indexadas. Los resultados de búsquedas muestran tres componentes principales: las causas que ocasionan el ciberplagio, las consecuencias que conlleva realizar estas prácticas deshonestas y, finalmente, las estrategias que, como los autores señalan, la comunidad universitaria debe seguir para contrarrestar estas malas prácticas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT As technology becomes part of the academic system, a phenomenon called cyberplagiarism arises due to the lack of honesty of students and, above all, due to the lack of knowledge of how serious it is to commit it. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that research is consistent for the benefit of the university community. In this way, the university's efforts must be focused on correcting this misconduct. This review of the academic literature had the purpose of describing and substantiating the bad practices of cyberplagiarism incurred by university students and focuses on the documentary collection of twenty-four articles from indexed journals. The search results show three main components: the causes of cyberplagiarism, the consequences of engaging in these dishonest practices and, finally, the strategies that, as the authors point out, the university community should follow to counteract these bad practices.]]></p></abstract>

Portanto, é necessário assegurar que a pesquisa seja consistente em benefício da comunidade universitária. Desta forma, os esforços da universidade devem ser direcionados para corrigir esta má conduta. Esta revisão da literatura acadêmica teve como objetivo descrever e substanciar as más práticas de ciberplágio por parte dos estudantes nas universidades e se concentra na coleção documental de vinte e quatro artigos de periódicos indexados. Os resultados da pesquisa mostram três componentes principais: as causas do ciberplágio, as conseqüências do envolvimento nestas práticas desonestas e, finalmente, as estratégias que, como os autores apontam, a comunidade universitária deveria seguir para contrariar estas más práticas.]]></p></abstract>
