Partiendo de ello, la mayoría de las universidades imparten esta asignatura a fin de garantizar la adquisición de habilidades requeridas en el mundo moderno. A partir de esta premisa el estudio profundizó sobre el uso de herramientas digitales y sus beneficios específicos en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés enmarcado en la educación superior, desarrollando una metodología, de revisión sistemática. Como resultado de la búsqueda se logró evidenciar a través de 14 artículos científicos publicados en revistas de alto impacto que las herramientas digitales favorecen el aprendizaje coadyuvando así el desarrollo de habilidades orales, escritura y de comprensión auditiva, concluyendo que existen metodologías que pueden ser empleadas integrando las herramientas digitales para mejorar los niveles de aprendizaje en el inglés de estudiantes en educación superior.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Nowadays, the world dynamics requires professionals to master several languages, being English one of the most valued in business and/or education. Based on this, most universities teach this subject in order to ensure the acquisition of skills required in the modern world. Based on this premise, the study delved into the use of digital tools and their specific benefits in English language learning framed in higher education, developing a systematic review methodology. As a result of the search it was evidenced through 14 scientific articles published in high impact journals that digital tools favor learning thus helping the development of oral skills, writing and listening comprehension, concluding that there are methodologies that can be used by integrating digital tools to improve learning levels in English for students in higher education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Atualmente, a dinâmica global exige que os profissionais sejam fluentes em vários idiomas, sendo o inglês um dos mais valorizados nos negócios e/ou na educação. Com base nisso, a maioria das universidades ensina este assunto a fim de garantir a aquisição de habilidades necessárias no mundo moderno. Com base nesta premissa, o estudo aprofundou o uso de ferramentas digitais e seus benefícios específicos na aprendizagem da língua inglesa no ensino superior, desenvolvendo uma metodologia de revisão sistemática. Como resultado da pesquisa, ficou evidente através de 14 artigos científicos publicados em revistas de alto impacto que as ferramentas digitais favorecem o aprendizado, contribuindo assim para o desenvolvimento da compreensão oral, escrita e auditiva, concluindo que existem metodologias que podem ser utilizadas pela integração de ferramentas digitais para melhorar os níveis de aprendizado em inglês dos estudantes do ensino superior.]]></p></abstract>
