El estudio tuvo por propósito determinar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y el estrés. De enfoque cuantitativo de tipo y diseño no experimental. La población fue de 426 estudiantes, y el muestreo estratificado de 170; Se aplicó dos cuestionarios, los inventarios de ICE BarOn de 130 preguntas y del estrés de 96 preguntas. Los resultados fueron que, la gestión emocional se relaciona con el estrés, según la prueba de hipótesis, X C 2 =45,340&gt; X t 2 =26,3; donde se acepta la hipótesis alterna. En conclusión, los estudiantes tienen buena gestión emocional en lo intrapersonal e interpersonal, y en cuanto a adaptabilidad, estado de ánimo y manejo de estrés se necesita atención para la prevención de la salud mental.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT During the health crisis, the students of the Early Childhood Education program developed the subjects through the virtual and distance modality, in which many difficulties arose that had repercussions on the emotional aspect generated by stress. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and stress. It had a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design. The population was 426 students, and the stratified sampling was 170; two questionnaires were applied, the ICE BarOn 130-question and 96-question stress inventories. The results were that, emotional management is related to stress, according to the hypothesis test, X_C&#94;2=45.340&gt;X_t&#94;2=26.3; where the alternate hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, students have good emotional management in intrapersonal and interpersonal, and in terms of adaptability, mood and stress management attention is needed for the prevention of mental health.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Durante a crise da saúde, os estudantes do programa de Educação Infantil desenvolveram os temas através da modalidade virtual e à distância, na qual surgiram muitas dificuldades que tiveram repercussões no aspecto emocional gerado pelo estresse. O objetivo do estudo era determinar a relação entre a inteligência emocional e o estresse. Tinha uma abordagem quantitativa e um projeto não-experimental. A população era de 426 estudantes, e a amostragem estratificada foi de 170; dois questionários foram aplicados, o ICE BarOn 130-question e o 96-question stress inventariado. Os resultados foram que, a gestão emocional está relacionada ao estresse, segundo o teste de hipóteses, X_C&#94;2=45,340&gt;X_t&#94;2=26,3; onde a hipótese alternativa é aceita. Em conclusão, os estudantes têm uma boa gestão emocional intrapessoal e interpessoal, e em termos de adaptabilidade, humor e atenção à gestão do estresse é necessária para a prevenção da saúde mental.]]></p></abstract>
