Por lo que es necesario promover su empleo y difusión, El objetivo del estudio fue identificar los elementos innovadores de la metodología del ABR y que competencias formativas y de empleabilidad desarrollan. La metodología empleada es de revisión bibliográfica, la búsqueda se realizó en las bases de datos como: Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc, Ebsco, Dialnet y Google Académico. Los resultados se basaron en estudios con 5 años de antigüedad realizados en universidades e institutos de educación superior, encontrándose 27 artículos y un libro identificados con la temática en estudio, donde sostienen que el ABR es una metodología para desarrollar la creatividad, el pensamiento crítico el aprendizaje colaborativo y la motivación, se concluyó que el ABR es una metodología para que el estudiante experimente situaciones problemáticas reales frente a las cuales debe presentar soluciones innovadoras, creativas y sostenibles en el tiempo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Challenge-based learning (RBL) is an active and innovative methodology, which applied in higher education would seek to articulate the training sector with the productive sector. Therefore, it is necessary to promote its use and dissemination. The objective of the study was to identify the innovative elements of the ABR methodology and which training and employability competencies are developed. The methodology used was a literature review, the search was conducted in databases such as: Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc, Ebsco, Dialnet and Google Scholar. The results were based on 5 years old studies conducted in universities and institutes of higher education, finding 27 articles and a book identified with the subject under study, where they argue that the ABR is a methodology to develop creativity, critical thinking, collaborative learning and motivation, it was concluded that the ABR is a methodology for the student to experience real problem situations against which he/she must present innovative, creative and sustainable solutions over time.]]></p></abstract>

O objetivo do estudo foi identificar os elementos inovadores da metodologia ABR e quais as competências de treinamento e empregabilidade que são desenvolvidas. A metodologia utilizada foi uma revisão de literatura, a pesquisa foi realizada em bancos de dados como: Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc, Ebsco, Dialnet e Google Scholar. Os resultados foram baseados em estudos de 5 anos realizados em universidades e institutos de ensino superior, encontrando 27 artigos e um livro identificado com o assunto em estudo, onde argumentam que a ABR é uma metodologia para desenvolver a criatividade, o pensamento crítico, a aprendizagem colaborativa e a motivação, concluiu-se que a ABR é uma metodologia para que os estudantes experimentem situações reais de problemas contra os quais devem apresentar soluções inovadoras, criativas e sustentáveis ao longo do tempo.]]></p></abstract>
