Aunque, los procesos que se desarrollan dentro de esta y su interacción con la atmósfera, hidrósfera, litósfera y la biósfera juegan un rol importante en la dinámica del actual ecosistema global. En este contexto, el objetivo es buscar información sobre los componentes del medio natural como el suelo, agua, litología, geomorfología y la fauna que funcionan como un sistema permanentemente brindando servicios ambientales para la sociedad y las poblaciones locales establecidas en un determinado territorio; desde una perspectiva transdisciplinar. En este caso respecto a la cuenca del río Cachi Mayu y la subcuenca de río Punilla de Cajamarca identificado con el software QGIS 3.28.3 de uso libre. Se evidenció la escasa información respecto a estudios actualizados multitemporales de flora y fauna, uso del suelo, acciones sobre el manejo integrado de cuencas a nivel de las subcuencas de Ravelo, Potolo, Maragua-Cachi Mayu y Cajamarca en la parte alta por su importancia en la provisión de agua para la ciudad de Sucre y en la parte baja de Maragua-Cachi Mayu por sus usos diversos en la zona. Existen debilidades en políticas, planes y programas en el manejo integrado de cuencas y en la gestión integral del recurso hídrico efectivos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract With the appearance of man, the growing population, scientific and technological advance, social and economic expansion, a new sphere of the planetary ecosystem was formed. Although, the processes that develop within it and its interaction with the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere play an important role in the dynamics of the current global ecosystem. In this context, the objective is to seek information about the components of the natural environment such as soil, water, lithology, geomorphology and fauna that function as a system permanently providing environmental services for society and local populations established in a certain territory; from a transdisciplinary perspective. In this case, with respect to the Cachi Mayu River basin and the Punilla River sub-basin of Cajamarca identified with the free-use QGIS 3.28.3 software. The scarce information was evident regarding updated multi-temporal studies of flora and fauna, land use, actions on the integrated management of basins at the level of the Ravelo, Potolo, Maragua-Cachi Mayu and Cajamarca sub-basins in the upper part due to their importance in the provision of water for the city of Sucre and in the lower part of Maragua- Cachi Mayu for its diverse uses in the area. There are weaknesses in effective policies, plans and programs in the integrated management of basins and in the comprehensive management of water resources.]]></p></abstract>
