Entre los contenidos que pueden ser transmitidos a través de ésta, se encuentra el concepto de amor romántico, que, a su vez, influye en las concepciones de los jóvenes de lo que significa estar en pareja. Por eso se buscó delimitar el concepto de amor, romance y los mitos románticos en la música desde la óptica de 12 mujeres jóvenes de la ciudad de La Paz, Bolivia. Este estudio partió de un enfoque cualitativo con marco interpretativo que utiliza 3 grupos focales para la recolección de información. Como resultados se encuentra que el amor se define como un sentimiento, interacción o conexión con el otro, algo químico, pero también como un aprendizaje donde se destaca el amor propio. El romance se basa en expresiones de afecto donde se encuentra una interacción entre dos personas. Los mitos románticos más resaltados son el amor imposible, el amor lo es todo en mi vida, el amor como sufrimiento, el amor que lo puede todo y el amor condicionado. Mientras los apenas mencionados son el amor único, el amor perfecto, el amor a primera vista, el amor solamente físico o sexual y el amor como posesión. Estos configuran el accionar de las mujeres y formarán parte del amor romántico reconocido y reproducido por las participantes al escuchar canciones románticas que forman parte de la &#8220;cultura popular&#8221;.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Music is a medium that nurtures culture through the transmission of messages, archetypes, and norms of action, mainly in young people. Among the transmitted contents through music, the concept of romantic love can be found. This concept, at the same time, influences the conceptions that young people have about what it means to be in a couple. That is why we need to delimit the concept of love, romance, and romantic myths in music from the perspective of 12 young women from the city of La Paz, Bolivia. This study started with a qualitative approach with an interpretive framework that uses 3 focus groups to collect information. As result, it is found that love is defined as a feeling, interaction, or connection with the other, something chemical and based on learning where self-love stands out. Romance is based on expressions of affection where an interaction between two people is found. The most prominent romantic myths are impossible love, love is everything in my life, love is suffering, love that can do everything, and conditioned love. While the ones less mentioned are unique love, the perfect love, love at first sight, physical or sexual love and, possessive love. These configure the actions of women and will be part of romantic love, recognized and reproduced by the participants when they are exposed to romantic songs that belong to &#8220;popular culture&#8221;.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO A música é um meio que nutre a cultura por meio da transmissão de mensagens, arquétipos e normas de ação, principalmente entre os jovens. Assim, entre os conteúdos que podem ser transmitidos através da música está o conceito de amor romântico, que, ao mesmo tempo influencia as concepções do casal que os jovens tem. Por isso, se procurou delimitar o conceito de amor, romance e mitos românticos na música a partir da perspectiva de 12 jovens da cidade de La Paz, Bolívia. Este estudo partiu de uma abordagem qualitativa com uma estrutura interpretativa que usa 3 grupos focais para coletar informações. Como resultados, verifica-se que o amor é definido como um sentimento, interação ou conexão com o outro, algo químico, e também como uma aprendizagem onde o amor próprio se destaca. Romance é baseado em expressões de afeto onde uma interação é encontrada entre duas pessoas. Os mitos românticos mais destacados são amor impossível, amor é tudo na minha vida, amor como sofrimento, amor que tudo pode e amor condicionado. Enquanto os que não são frequentemente citados são o amor único, o amor perfeito, amor à primeira vista, amor físico ou sexual e amor como possessão. Estes configuram as ações das mulheres e farão parte do amor romântico, reconhecido e reproduzido pelas participantes quando escutam as canções românticas que fazem parte da &#8220;cultura popular&#8221;.]]></p></abstract>
