<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.bo/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1605-25282025000100013&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.bo/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1605-25282025000100013&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.bo/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1605-25282025000100013&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Se realizó un estudio donde se analizó el patrón de actividad diaria del número de individuos adultos activos de dos especies de libélulas, Rhionaeschna peralta y Sympetrum gilvum según algunos factores microclimáticos como la temperatura, intensidad de luz y velocidad del viento durante la época de transición húmeda a seca del 2004 en un estanque artificial del Jardín Botánico La Paz de Cota Cota. Se tomaron datos del número de individuos de cada especie de libélula, temperatura, intensidad de luz y la velocidad del viento cada 15 minutos desde las 07:00 h hasta las 19:00 h. La actividad de Rhionaeschna peralta presenta un máximo de seis individuos activos en la laguna, inicia su actividad a las 8:15 h, hasta las 18:30 h, se relaciona positivamente con la temperatura (rs = 0.57, p &lt;0.05), intensidad de luz (rs = 0.62, p &lt;0.05) y escasamente con la velocidad de viento (rs = 0.27, p= 0.013). La actividad de Sympetrum gilvum registró un máximo de 15 individuos, inicia su actividad a las 11:00 h y finaliza a las 15:00 h, se relaciona positivamente con la temperatura (rs = 0.51, p &lt;0.05), intensidad de luz (rs = 0.72, p &lt;0.05) y con la velocidad de viento (rs = 0.49, p&lt;0.05). La actividad de ambas especies se correlaciona positivamente con la temperatura, intensidad de luz y velocidad de viento. R. peralta se relaciona principalmente con la temperatura, mientras que S. gilvum se relaciona principalmente con la intensidad de luz. La presencia de áreas verdes con cuerpos de agua en ambientes urbanos es importante para la conservación de las libélulas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract A study was carried out to analyze the daily activity pattern of the number of active adult individuals of two dragonfly species, Rhionaeschna peralta and Sympetrum gilvum according to some microclimatic factors such as temperature, light intensity and wind speed during the wet to dry transition period of 2004 in an artificial pond of the La Paz Botanical Garden of Cota Cota. Data were taken on the number of individuals of each dragonfly species, temperature, light intensity and wind speed every 15 minutes from 07:00 hr to 19:00 hrs. The activity of Rhionaeschna peralta presents a maximum of six active individuals in the lagoon, it starts its activity at 8:15 hr, until 18:30 hr, it is positively related to temperature (rs = 0.57, p &lt;0.05), light intensity (rs = 0.62, p &lt;0.05) and scarcely with wind speed (rs = 0.27, p= 0.013). The activity of Sympetrum gilvum recorded a maximum of 15 individuals, it starts its activity at 11:00 hr and ends at 15:00 hr, it is positively related to temperature (rs = 0.51, p&lt;0.05), light intensity (rs = 0.72, p&lt;0.05) and wind speed (rs = 0.49, p&lt;0.05).
