As a first stage, a topographical survey of the campus and a definition of measurement routes were carried out. Second, RSRP key performance indicators were identified in Network Cell Signal &amp; Wi-Fi info Lite, the tool that was used to collect data. As a third step, measurements were made along the selected routes. After analyzing the results obtained, it is possible to conclude that the measurement methodology is constructive for academic purposes and teaching in a Telecommunications Engineering program. Besides, a general optimization for the availability of service on campus can be proposed and better levels of coverage of one of the mobile operators were observed with respect to that of a second operator.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Este estudio presenta la metodología, recursos empleados y resultados de una campaña de medición en campo de cobertura LTE-A desarrollada en un campus académico, como parte de las actividades de laboratorio docente de un curso de Comunicaciones Móviles de la Universidad Privada de Bolivia. Como primera etapa, se realizó un levantamiento topográfico del campus y definición de rutas de medición. En segundo lugar, se identificaron indicadores clave de rendimiento de RSRP en Network Cell Signal &amp; Wi-Fi info Lite, la herramienta que se utilizó para recopilar datos. Como tercer paso, se realizaron mediciones a lo largo de las rutas seleccionadas. Luego de analizar los resultados obtenidos, es posible concluir que la metodología de medición es constructiva para fines académicos y enseñanza en Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones. Además, es posible proponer una optimización general de la disponibilidad del servicio en el campus y observar mejores niveles de cobertura de uno de los operadores móviles con respecto al de un segundo operador.]]></p></abstract>
