El experimento se desarrolló en el campus experimental de la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López ubicada en Calceta, Manabí, Ecuador. Se probaron los siguientes tratamientos en una sola aplicación; T1: Carbendazim (3 mL L-1), T2: Trifloxystrobin + Tebuconazol (3 mL L-1), T3: Sulfato de cobre pentahidratado (3 mL L-1), T4: Difenoconazol (2 mL L-1), T5: Clorotalonil (3 mL L-1), T6: Azoxystrobin + Tridemorph (3 mL L-1), T7: Testigo sin tratar. La aplicación se la ejecutó a los 60 días, y las evaluaciones se realizaron a los 15 y 30 días antes de la aplicación, y a los 8 y 15 días después de la aplicación, considerando su incidencia (por ciento de folíolos afectados) y severidad total (por ciento de área foliar afectada). Se registraron variables como altura de planta, número de ramas, severidad e incidencia de la cercosporiosis del maní, vainas por planta, peso de 100 granos, peso total del maní en vainas (q ha-1), peso total de granos (q ha-1). Los datos fueron analizados a través del ANOVA, la separación de medias se las efectuó con prueba de Tukey (&#945; = 0.05). En el análisis de varianza los tratamientos incluido el testigo no influenciaron significativamente la severidad de la enfermedad, así como la productividad. Para concluir, se ha demostrado que realizar una sola aplicación de fungicidas no es suficiente para controlar la cercosporiosis del maní, por lo que probablemente se debería realizar un número mayor de aplicaciones de fungicidas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The peanut leaf spot, caused by Nothopassalora personata is a disease that significantly limits the production of peanut crops, for this reason, the objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of fungicides in the control of peanut leaf spots. The experiment was carried out at the experimental campus of the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López located in Calceta, Manabí, Ecuador. The following treatments were tested in a single application: T1: Carbendazim (3 mL L-1), T2: Trifloxystrobin + Tebuconazole (3 mL L-1), T3: Copper sulfate pentahydrate (3 mL L-1), T4: Difenoconazole (2 mL L-1), T5: Chlorothalonil (3 mL L-1), T6: Azoxystrobin + Tridemorph (3 mL L-1), T7: Control. The application was carried out at 80 DAS, and evaluations were made 15 and 30 days before application, and 8 and 15 days after application, considering its incidence (% of leaflets affected) and total severity (% of leaf area affected). Variables such as plant height, number of branches, severity and incidence of peanut leaf spots, pods/plant, 100-kernel weight (g), total weight of peanuts in pods (q ha-1), and total kernel weight (q ha-1) were recorded. Data were analyzed using ANOVA; means were separated using the Tukey test (&#945; = 0.05). In the analysis of variance, the treatments, including the control, did not significantly influence disease severity or productivity. In conclusion, it has been shown that a single application of fungicides is not sufficient to control peanut leaf spot, so a greater number of fungicide applications should probably be made.]]></p></abstract>
