Para ello, se realizó una investigación documental sobre el Departamento, reconociendo los hitos históricos que marcaron el devenir del Departamento de Extensión Cultural, desde 1971, y del Departamento de Cultura y Arte, desde 1998. Se reconocen las principales áreas de acción que ponen de relieve el arte y la cultura desde una perspectiva humanística.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The aim of this article is to briefly expose the history of the Department of Culture of Universidad Católica Boliviana.
