The journal Temas Sociales is produced by the "Mauricio Lefebvre" Sociological Research Institute, from the Sociology Career (Faculty of Social Sciences) of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, Bolivia. Its rationale is to contribute to the formation of a space for academic dialogue of national and international thought on relevant issues in the field of social sciences in Bolivia and Latin America. It seeks, on the one hand, to strengthen the community of senior and junior researchers in Bolivia by contributing to the dissemination of original research results carried out in the country and abroad; on the other hand, it aims to open up to academic dialogue, through open access, with peers from other academic spaces outside of Bolivia.
