Pedagogical innovation has become imperative for universities seeking to ensure educational quality and develop 21st-century skills in their students. This study aimed to analyze the implementation and impact of pedagogical innovations mediated by active technologies in Peruvian higher education during the period 2017-2025. Using a qualitative approach and documentary design, a systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA model, consulting databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and SciELO. Seventeen empirical studies and systematic reviews were analyzed. The results show a transition from emergency remote education to consolidated hybrid models, with notable improvements in student motivation, participation, and autonomy. It is concluded that digital transformation is advancing steadily, although limited by gaps in teacher training. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen pedagogical competencies, establish incentives for innovation, and promote ethical frameworks for the use of artificial intelligence.
