PAREDES PENAFIEL, Rejis Renato; CARRILLO ROBLES, Cecilia; CHAVEZ HUANCA, Carlos Alberto  y  CHAVEZ LRAZABAL, Wilbert. Work disposition and employability in university graduates are analyzed using a correlational approach according to the economic sector. The labor market integration of university graduates represents a challenge in changing economic contexts, especially in Latin America, where youth employability is affected by political factors. The objective was to identify the relationship between university graduates' willingness to work and employability, considering the specificities of different economic sectors. This was a basic study with a quantitative approach and correlational design, applied to a sample of 113 graduates belonging to low socioeconomic strata. Using a validated questionnaire, three key dimensions were analyzed: work motivation, perceived self-efficacy, and barriers to labor market integration. The results show that work willingness significantly influences employability, although in a different way depending on the economic sector. In innovative and service sectors, work willingness has greater weight, while in traditional sectors, such as manufacturing or agribusiness, technical skills prevail. Finally, it is concluded that there is a need for university guidance and support policies differentiated by sector, which can strengthen both technical and attitudinal skills to optimize employability.
