Resumen

MAGINO TORRES, Zonia Noemi; YARASCA VEGA, Gian Pool; OROSCO FABIAN, Jhon Richard  y  RAMIREZ ARELLANO, Miguel Angel. Financial inclusion in young adults: a bibliometric review. Impulso [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.11, pp.378-392.  Epub 02-Jul-2025. ISSN 2959-9040.  https://doi.org/10.59659/impulso.v.5i11.150.

The objective of the study was to analyze the scientific production on financial inclusion in young adults through bibliometric analysis. Methodologically, a longitudinal non-experimental design with quantitative and qualitative hermeneutic-interpretative approach was used, consulting the Scopus database with temporal inclusion criteria (2008-2024) and thematic (financial inclusion and young adults), analyzing 87 documents using VOSviewer, Bibliometrix and Datawrapper tools. On the other hand, the results show an annual growth of 10.58% in publications, with 379 participating authors, 73 specialized journals and international collaboration of 33.33%, highlighting authors such as Chen Lianyu and journals such as PLOS ONE, with predominance of US institutions such as Harvard and Johns Hopkins. Likewise, scientific mapping identified emerging themes such as financial education, financial technology, mobile banking and financial exclusion, underlining the importance of overcoming access barriers in this population group. Finally, it is concluded that financial inclusion in young adults represents an expanding field with significant potential for future research, requiring multidisciplinary approaches that integrate technological, educational and public policy aspects to improve equitable access to financial services.
