CORDOVA BERNUY, Víctor Andrés; CARPIO MENDOZA, Janet e VEGA VILCA, Carlos Sixto. Integration of AI in university policies: systematic review. Impulso [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.11, pp.330-346. Epub 02-Jul-2025. ISSN 2959-9040. https://doi.org/10.59659/impulso.v.5i11.147.
The integration of artificial intelligence into university policies involves incorporating it into the formulation and execution of educational and administrative strategies to improve management efficiency. The objective of this research is to analyze the integration of artificial intelligence into the development of university policies. The methodological approach is qualitative, based on a systematic literature review following the guidelines of the Prisma 2020 method. Boolean operators AND OR were used in three databases: Scopus, Scielo, and Latindex, yielding a total of 388 articles. The selected period was 2020-2025. After applying eligibility criteria, 13 articles were selected. As a result, AI allows for improved educational effectiveness and personalization; however, it presents ethical challenges and a risk of bias. It is concluded that effectively implementing AI requires overcoming ethical, educational, and structural challenges, such as the lack of teacher training, the absence of clear policies, and the persistent digital divide, which limit its positive impact.
