Digital transformation as part of state modernization has been widely addressed in recent political, technological, and social studies, highlighting its impact on improving public services and government transparency. The objective of the study was to analyze and determine the level of implementation and effectiveness of digital tools applied in state administrative processes, using the PRISMA method. The sources of information were the SCOPUS, ERIC, and SCIELO databases. Boolean operators such as AND and OR were used. The total number of research articles identified was 125, with 40 articles ultimately selected from Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, and Uruguay. According to the results, digital transformation significantly boosts the operational efficiency of the state, optimizing the management of public information, improving citizen service, and promoting an organizational culture oriented toward technological innovation.
