Artificial intelligence replicates human skills for decisions and data processing, while augmented reality enriches the physical environment with digital elements. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) on the retention and management of human talent within the public sector, highlighting its potential to improve efficiency, quality of services and labor productivity. The study was based on pure research, qualitative approach, systematic review and Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (Prisma) statement. The investigation explained that artificial intelligence and augmented reality are radically transforming the personnel hiring and selection process, as well as increasing productivity and optimizing resource management, enhancing their adaptability in work environments. In this way, it was concluded that the integration of these technologies allows for effective productivity and management, being essential that they are implemented in an ethical and fair manner, protecting individual rights and reducing prejudices in talent management.
