An appropriate regulation and cutting-edge infrastructure are essential for the Port of Callao to position itself as a hub on the west coast of South America. This research aims to determine whether state regulation has the adequate level of sufficiency for the Port of Callao to meet the conditions of a HUB port on the west coast of South America by the year 2030. The research was conducted using an analytical design and a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of nineteen officials. The main results highlight that state regulation has a positive impact on the development of the necessary infrastructure for the port to meet hub requirements. It is concluded that the majority of respondents perceive state regulation as good, reflecting a high level of satisfaction with the reforms implemented at the Port of Callao as a hub.
