SANDOVAL, David Valencia y HARO-ZEA, Karla Liliana. Strategic Management in Health Institutions: Systematic Review. Impulso [online]. 2024, vol.4, n.7, pp.185-199. Epub 20-Jul-2024. ISSN 2959-9040. https://doi.org/10.59659/impulso.v.4i7.42.
The management system in health institutions is a set of organizational processes that allow for planning. The objective was to analyze its progress in health institutions. The study was conducted under a descriptive qualitative approach. A literature review was carried out following the PRISMA 2020 protocol in Scopus and Science Direct. Search terms were used, and studies published between 2013 and 2023 were limited. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were established. The mathematical processing involved the calculation of proportions. A hypothesis test was applied to assess differences between proportions. The review identified 990 articles, from which 400 were selected, and 152 were evaluated. The results revealed significant differences. It is concluded that analyzing the progress of the management system in institutions is important for better practices. Strategic management faces significant challenges and primarily requires a focus on creating value in patient care. If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask.
