Currently, terms and criteria little used by teachers have emerged. Concepts such as communication and oral expression have become essential tools and indicators of both spoken and written language. These play a crucial role in facilitating and transmitting communication between people. This research, with a qualitative approach, aims to compare various scientific articles to offer an overview of the levels of development of oral communication competence in primary education students. To achieve this, a systematic search is carried out in Spanish and English using keywords to speed up the search. This allows you to analyze a variety of articles that were filtered by reviewing titles and abstracts. Subsequently, those documents that met all the inclusion criteria were examined in their entirety, forming part of the study. The databases used for this review include sources such as Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet, Ciencia Latina, and repositories from different national and local universities. The results of this research determined a similarity in the research results and conclusions of articles related to the development of oral communication competence in primary education students.
