MORE LOPEZ, Jesús Manuel et al. Study habits and academic performance in students of Education of the UNASAM-Ancash, Peru. Tribunal [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.13, pp.795-805.  Epub 02-Oct-2025. ISSN 2959-6513.  https://doi.org/10.59659/revistatribunal.v5i13.303.

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between study habits and academic performance in students of the Faculty of Education of the Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (UNASAM). It was developed under a quantitative, basic approach, with a non-experimental, correlational-descriptive and cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 580 students, from which a sample of 60 was selected. The survey technique was used and a questionnaire validated by expert judgment was used as an instrument, with a reliability of 0.696 according to Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between study habits and academic performance (r = 0.795; p < 0.05). It is concluded that the improvement of study habits favors the increase of academic performance in university students.
