ROQUE HUANCA, Edgar Octavio et al. Management leadership and teacher motivation in the schools of the city of Quillabamba. Tribunal [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.12, pp.829-838. Epub 01-Jul-2025. ISSN 2959-6513. https://doi.org/10.59659/revistatribunal.v5i12.240.
In the educational field, understanding the link between school leadership and teacher motivation is essential to improving institutional performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between school leadership and teacher motivation in primary schools in the city of Quillabamba, Cusco, Peru, during the year 2024. The research adopted a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach. Fifty-eight teachers participated, selected through purposive, non-probability sampling. Validated surveys were administered, and the data were analyzed using Spearman's Rho coefficient. The results showed a positive and significant correlation (Rho = 0.742; p < 0.01), indicating that effective school leadership is associated with higher levels of teacher motivation. In conclusion, leadership that promotes clear goals, pedagogical support, and active participation contributes to improving teacher engagement, favoring both their performance and the school learning climate.
