RAMOS HUACHO, Mariella Elvira; PAUCAR VERA, Yudy Paulina; PILAR BUENO, Walter Tarsilio e PAREDES ORELLANA, Aida. Systematic review on the implications of autonomous learning in basic education. Tribunal [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.12, pp.812-828. Epub 01-Jul-2025. ISSN 2959-6513. https://doi.org/10.59659/revistatribunal.v5i12.239.
Autonomous learning has become a relevant pedagogical approach in regular basic education, promoting students' ability to manage their own learning process. The objective of this study is to analyze the implications of autonomous learning in basic education. The study is a systematic review using a qualitative-descriptive approach, considering the PRISMA method. The search was conducted in the ProQuest and EBSCOhost databases using the Boolean operators AND OR. In the first stage, 184 articles were obtained, resulting in a sample of 18 articles for the review. The results showed that autonomous learning offers significant benefits in basic education, allowing students to regulate knowledge, demonstrating greater responsibility in their education, and increasing academic performance. It is concluded that autonomous learning constitutes an opportunity to strengthen fundamental competencies in students, but its implementation requires a collective commitment, a pedagogical reconfiguration, and a student-centered educational vision.
