COACALLA CASTILLO, Carlos Enrique et al. Critical thinking in decision making in the university context. Tribunal [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.12, pp.386-399. Epub 01-Jul-2025. ISSN 2959-6513. https://doi.org/10.59659/revistatribunal.v5i12..
An important aspect that leads to the quality of service and generates expectations of a university is decision making. Therefore, the objective of the research was to determine the influence of critical thinking in the decision making of teachers, taking the Universidad Nacional Micaela Bastidas de Apurímac as the unit of analysis. Methodologically, the study responds to a descriptive-correlational level with a non-experimental design, where 102 students were chosen through a stratified random sampling. The data were recorded through two questionnaires. The statistic used for hypothesis testing was the structural equation model, whose results showed that there is a strong relationship between “critical thinking” and “decision making”, identifying serious weaknesses in the students; thinking of them, a program was designed to strengthen critical thinking for reasoned decisions in the digital age and artificial intelligence.
