CASTRO CARACHOLI, Flor de María. Basic social skills to strengthen school coexistence in pre-school children. Tribunal [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.11, pp.285-299. Epub 01-Abr-2025. ISSN 2959-6513. https://doi.org/http://doi.org/10.59659/revistatribunal.v5i11.157.
Promoting social skills in preschool children, such as communication and respect, is key to strengthening school coexistence. The objective of this research was to determine the extent to which basic social skills strengthen school coexistence in 5-year-old preschool children at the Educational Center in Peru. A quantitative approach was used, with a quasi-experimental research design. The study population consisted of 100 5-year-old preschool students. The results highlight that the experimental group showed significant progress in self-care (86% outstanding) and interpersonal relationships (76% outstanding), while the control group did not show significant improvements in any of the areas evaluated. It is concluded that the social skills program strengthens school coexistence and the comprehensive development of 5-year-old children, which highlights the importance of implementing structured interventions in the educational setting.
