Soft skills empower educators, improving connections with students and creating effective and enriching learning environments. The purpose of this systemic review article was to describe the state of investigations into soft skills among teachers. The methodology used was a systematic qualitative review, 23 articles were selected between 2021 and 2025, using the updated PRISMA guide. The results show that these skills contribute to guaranteeing academic and professional success; promote participation, autonomy and strengthen social and interpersonal skills. It emphasizes the importance of strengthening support networks in education, designing innovative didactic strategies, such as inverted learning, feedback in active methodologies, and the use of digital mediation strategies, which facilitate effective interaction in collaborative environments. The integration of these actions into curricula is recommended to encourage critical thinking and creativity, contributing to the consolidation of skills that the XXI century demands.
