CONTRERAS CONTRERAS, Fortunato e OLAYA GUERRERO, Julio Cesar. AI integration in higher education: An experience in student Learning. Tribunal [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.11, pp.30-44. Epub 01-Abr-2025. ISSN 2959-6513. https://doi.org/http://doi.org/10.59659/revistatribunal.v5i11.140.
The integration of artificial intelligence in higher education revolutionizes learning by offering personalized and relevant educational experiences. The objective of this research was to evaluate the perception of university students regarding the use of artificial intelligence in their teaching activities. A quantitative approach was used with a cross-sectional descriptive design. The population was 30% university students. The main results highlight that 38.67% of students have used AI tools, while 36.67% achieve a very positive impact on their learning and 44% significantly improve their academic performance. It is concluded that the integration of AI in higher education generates dual perceptions among students: one segment values its potential to optimize learning through personalization and efficiency, while other evidence shows resistance due to training and technical gaps. Adoption varies according to academic disciplines, being higher in technical areas.
