The bibliometric research analyzes the scientific literature on attention and concentration in preschool children between 2018 and June 2023. Using Boolean operators and the Prism diagram, 22 articles were selected from databases such as Scopus, BASE, IEEE Xplore, among others. The United States leads in publications, followed by Chile, China, Brazil and Türkiye. The year with the most publications was 2020. The importance of activities that improve attentional fatigue and mental speed is highlighted, advocating for effective study and rest strategies in school and work environments. The research highlights the relevance of the preschool stage for cognitive development, highlighting the importance of physical and recreational activities to stimulate attention, concentration, problem solving and emotional regulation in children. In summary, the development of cognitive skills is intrinsically linked to strengthening attention and concentration in childhood.
